That's right, we moved.

While the people at Hotel Crown were friendly and tried their best, we got fed up with the cockroaches, mice, and beat up furnishings. Even their Guinness World Record for the most vegetarian items on a menu was so tired out that the version provided at each table was an "excerpt" from the record-holding menu.

We are now living large at the House of Mangaldas Girdhardas boutique hotel. There are a grand total of 12 rooms and we have 4 of them. I am in the terrace room and am enjoying listening to my iPod through the in-room stereo as I type this. It looks like we'll be here for the duration of our time in Ahmedabad.

According to the hotel history, Gandhi stayed here February 1-3, 1915. Yes, that Gandhi. No, he didn't stay in the same room I am in.

I've uploaded a few pictures so you can compare the two. Our mission for this project is to further innovation here in India. I'm confident that I can be much more productive in a place like this. Especially on my balcony, while I sit next to the fresh cut flowers they bring me each day, and listen to my in-room satellite radio.
